Paste one access token — articles arrive as published stories on your own Storyblok content type.
Storyblok is built for structured content. You paste a personal access token, DraftSEO lists the spaces it can reach and reads the content types in the one you pick, and you confirm which fields hold the title, the body and the image. Each article is then written as a story on your own content type and published, with every image uploaded to the Storyblok CDN first. Storyblok is headless, so your own website renders the article — you tell DraftSEO the address pattern your posts live at.

Nothing — once the token is pasted and the fields are mapped, stories appear in your space already published, and your website shows them. Want to review first? Send them as drafts and press Publish in Storyblok.

In Storyblok open My Account → Access Tokens and generate an account-level token with Stories write, Assets write, Components read and Spaces read. Copy it straight away — it is shown once.

An account-level personal access token, from My Account → Access Tokens. The tokens you find in a space’s settings are Content Delivery tokens — they let a website read your content, but they cannot write, so publishing fails with an authorisation error. Give the token Stories write, Assets write, Components read and Spaces read, and copy it immediately: Storyblok shows it once.
Yes. Storyblok runs separate servers per region and a space only answers on its own one, so DraftSEO records which region your space is in when you connect and talks to that server from then on.
It depends on your body field. A plain text or textarea field keeps the embed exactly as written. A rich text or markdown field cannot carry raw embed code, so the video becomes a clearly-labelled link to watch it on YouTube rather than being silently dropped.
No. Storyblok replaces a story’s whole content block on update, so DraftSEO reads the live story first and writes its changes on top — fields like author or category that your team set are carried through untouched.
Your choice. Storyblok is draft-by-default, so DraftSEO publishes explicitly when you ask it to and simply leaves the story unpublished when you pick draft — ready for you to review and publish from Storyblok.
