EasyWP or Stellar WordPress — install one plugin and the blog runs itself.
Namecheap’s EasyWP and Stellar hosting both run WordPress, so the DraftSEO WordPress plugin installs the same way on each and publishes every article as a real post. The Namecheap-specific checks are LiteSpeed Cache on Stellar, ModSecurity when a publish is refused, and EasyWP’s ewp.live address — and Namecheap’s site builders are not WordPress.
| EasyWP and Stellar | DraftSEO WordPress plugin — real posts carrying Media Library images, slug and category included |
|---|---|
| LiteSpeed Cache (Stellar) | Exclude /wp-json/draftseo/ — it caches REST responses for 7 days by default |
| ModSecurity firewall | Can refuse with a 403 — Namecheap support can allow the flagged article |
| EasyWP address | Connect from your own domain — a free ewp.live site, or a domain that only forwards to it, keeps ewp.live |
| Website Builder, Site Maker, Sitejet, Weebly | Not WordPress — no plugins, so no DraftSEO connection |
Who does what
A single setup: install the plugin, add the LiteSpeed Cache exclusion if you’re on Stellar with that plugin active, and connect from your own domain. Past that, articles land on the site without your involvement.
Set it up once on EasyWP or Stellar — then it just runs.
Setup
EasyWP and Stellar share the install; the cache step is Stellar-only and the address check matters on EasyWP.
Namecheap in the Connect a site picker leads to the WordPress connect card, Namecheap’s notes on top. It creates a normal WordPress connection for your EasyWP or Stellar site.
~10 seconds
From the WordPress admin: Plugins → Add New, search for “DraftSEO”, then install and activate. The route is identical on EasyWP and Stellar.
~1 minute
With the LiteSpeed Cache plugin active, REST responses are cached for 7 days by default. Open LiteSpeed Cache → Cache → Excludes → Do Not Cache URIs and add /wp-json/draftseo/ so DraftSEO never reads a stale reply.
Stellar + LiteSpeed only
On the plugin’s settings page, press Connect with DraftSEO.ai. On EasyWP, do it from your own domain: a site still on its free ewp.live address — or a domain that only forwards to it — keeps ewp.live as its WordPress address.
~1 minute
Choose how often to publish and whether posts go live straight away. New articles then arrive on your Namecheap-hosted site unattended.

FAQ
Yes, on Namecheap’s WordPress hosting — EasyWP and Stellar — through the DraftSEO WordPress plugin. What it needs differs by product: on Stellar with LiteSpeed Cache active, exclude /wp-json/draftseo/ from the cache; on EasyWP, connect from your own domain rather than the ewp.live address.
No. Namecheap Website Builder, Site Maker, Sitejet and Weebly sites are not WordPress and cannot run plugins, so there is nothing for DraftSEO to install. Use EasyWP or a Stellar WordPress site and it connects normally.
Namecheap’s ModSecurity firewall may have flagged the article. Contact Namecheap support and ask them to allow it.
If the LiteSpeed Cache plugin is active, yes. By default it caches REST responses for 7 days, which would hand DraftSEO outdated answers. Add /wp-json/draftseo/ under LiteSpeed Cache → Cache → Excludes → Do Not Cache URIs.
Connect it from your own domain instead. While an EasyWP site sits on the free ewp.live address — or behind a domain that merely forwards there — WordPress still treats ewp.live as its address.
No card required. Connect EasyWP or Stellar in about two minutes.
